CLEA LOVES SEX: A MOTHER’s DAY ENTRY
- UMAR LOVES SEX: M.I.L.F. SPECIAL EDITION

---

Over the years we’ve examined several instances of how Clea; Doctor Strange’s other-dimensional lover, has shown her deep appreciation for… er… being appreciated - deeply.

A being born in the Dark Dimension, a realm where physical laws hardly apply, and raised alone by a harsh, disciplinary father, it isn’t likely that Clea had any physical relations before Dr. Strange entered her realm, her life, and... her.

So, where does this predilection for conjuring forth the “Mindless-One-with-two-backs” originate? Well, it can’t be stated for certain, but it would seem that Clea’s lust for more amour was passed down by her mother, Umar (sister of Dormammu).

In fact, it will probably give new meaning to the phrase that heralded her introduction:
"ENTER UMAR!"

Most readers are aware of Umar as a mystic threat that Doctor Strange has had to contend with on several occasions. But this is made into even more of a sticky situation since Strange and Clea were married (via mystic ring(s)) thus making Umar a true M.I.L.F. *
*Mother-In-Law Faltinian… why? What were YOU thinking it meant?

Umar and Dormammu are Faltinians, beings made of mystical fire. They had no physical forms whatsoever, and in fact, as a race, Faltinians have a basic loathing for the physical realm.
It was the siblings desire to seek out a more physical existence and desire for power that led to their being cast out of their native dimension. It was then that they found and usurped the rule of the dimension that would from then on be known as “Dark”. Still, while Dormammu quickly took the throne, Umar discovered the bed.

While within a physical form, it didn’t take long before Umar’s form craved some “physical” (- like Olivia Newton-John). In fact, it was her coupling with Dormammu’s right-hand man, Orini, that led to the birth of Clea.
Originally, Umar was disgusted by the child and the act that created her. For years thereafter she did all she could to eliminate the memory of sex (and her child) from her mind.

However, like an itch that craves to be scratched, she could ignore the urges for only so long before she had to satisfy them.

Umar has always visually presented herself as a vamp, a siren, a Gothic beauty, all while trying to remain above her base desires. Yet, how like many Earth M.I.L.F.s (yeah, this time it means exactly what you think) Umar soon found herself somewhat attracted to the man her daughter loved. (Bow-chica-wow-wow)

In truth, Umar never showed anything more than a passing admiration for the earthling who bested her brother, but that helped sow the seeds for Umar’s wish for others to sow wild oats – in her. (This is where the obligatory “plow” and “hoe” jokes would naturally go. Feel free to make them in the comments section.)

Still, she knew that the plan of attack against Strange was to use feminine ways (y'know... treachery and guile).

As such, while in conflict with Umar, did Dr. Strange confess of her “velvety” nature...

...while she engages in some dirty talk of “thrusts” and “counter-thrusts” that get her excited enough to give her an “O-face”.

However, since Umar is a bad-girl (a very bad girl), obviously, she would have no real interest in the goody-goody nature of a hero such as Stephen Strange, so why not look for one like him, but… bad?

Of course, in the "What If?" realities, Umar DID find someone like an evil Stephen Strange... STEPHEN STRANGE - Disciple of Dormammu!

After he sets her free, she shows just how "free" she can be.

Free.... and easy. And extremely "close" with her "beloved"' brother.

It would seem that she truly had a thing going with this alternate Dr. Strange. She felt that when he was bad, he was very very good.

However, this sorcerous sexcapade with Strange was only an alternate-universe lifestyle.

So, in the "616" proper, when looking for someone like an evil Dr. Strange, Umar hooked up with Baron Mordo, natch!

"...she's been alone a VERY long time."

Linking their powers, their hate for Strange and their need for “strange”, the dirty duo forged a union (in every conceivable way) to rule the Dark Dimension (is that what the kids were calling in it in the 1990’s?).

Unfortunately, Dormammu came and like a typical jerk brother, ruined the whole thing by seemingly destroying Mordo and absorbing his and Umar’s essence unto himself (a truly taboo three-way).

But, when later they were separated, it became known just how… close the siblings had been. (Hint: VERY. Taboo, indeed!)

At the very least, she seems to enjoy the indulgence of having her physical form pampered and preened by peons.

Still, it seems, when she was in “need” and there were no other resources available, she’d abduct lovers from other dimensions, and then turn them into 3-headed lizards or stalks of broccoli when she was finished with them.

(A good thing for WONG that she never followed through on her desirous urge with him.)

Later, while using her wiles to trick her brother into dooming himself in the age-old dance of seeking power, Umar would occupy her time with another form of dance – the “horizontal bop”.
But whom could a supremely powerful, ageless, tireless mystic mistress have as a consort whom she couldn’t incinerate (either by magic or mere friction)? It would have to be someone INCREDIBLE…

Unfortunately, as is often the case, when a man hasn’t had sex in a long while, the initial encounter can be… brief. So… Hulk no smash.

Still, it couldn’t have been all that bad, since Umar kept trying to get the Hulk to return to her.

However, when the time presented itself for a “second date” Umar rolled out the red carpet (er… tongue) to give the Hulk another go.

And like the “Energizer Bunny”, Hulk just kept going…and going… and going…

Still, we should end this here, before we veer too far into content that goes beyond PG (or even PG-13) territory – like what that thing is that Umar does with her toes.

Uh… I think we're done here. It’s probably better that we don’t hear the rest of that.

I said... we're done here!

And so we taske our leave with the knowledge that...
much like CLEA... UMAR LOVES SEX!

CLEA LOVES SEX
Ménage à Trois x3
Three Three-Ways To Sunday

---

After a LONG dry spell without any affectionate looks or sweet lovin' from CLEA (2 years!), we're finally returning to a much-loved feature here on the Sanctum Sanctorum Comix blog (seriously, the hit numbers on these posts are huge, you perverts) wherein we take a look at Clea's desire for ...er... physicality.

This post is the SEVENTH in a series of entries  - previous input in this series can be found at these links:
and don't forget the "Special Edition Limerick"  Addendum - [HERE]

Seriously, this has always been a popular feature here, but at some point, I just stopped presenting them - despite their being such a wealth of instances in the comic canon.

Well, to make it up to us, Clea has agreed to grant us nearly every man's dream... the 3-way.

Not just one three-way... but THREE three-ways (sorta).
I'll explain.

---

As we've shown in every other past edition of the CLEA LOVES SEX series, it is obvious that CLEA...well... LOVES SEX!

That doesn't stop at our reality either. Alternate Realities also present Alternate Lifestyles for the white-haired, other-dimensional princess.

For instance;
In the recent DARK AVENGERS v2 # 185, we are given a glimpse into the twisted world of an Alternate Reality version (or possible future version - it's not clear yet) of Doctor Strange and Clea.

And in this version of reality Clea is still as hot to trot as in any other.

click to make Trois sizes larger.
A three-way (which includes a "furry" pseudo-bestiality partner), plus a Ms. Marvel cosplay and a big creepy gimp in the corner who likes to watch.
Doctor Strange has all bases covered.
Jeff Parker & Neil Edwards = straight-up pimps

Not only that, but as shown here, she's "open" to "alternatives" with her sex with  Doctor Strange, saying; "I love to indulge." And indulge she does, to any who want to join in, since Tigra can't rip off her own top quick enough to get in on the action.

The Tigra aspect of this equation isn't out of the blue either, since she was a live-in "associate" to Doctor Strange in the "Marvel Mangaverse" series.

Japaneriffic! At least she's not wearing a sailor suit.
Scarlet Witch soon teams up with them for a tight team as well.

---

Still, this isn't the only time that an alternate reality version of Clea was open to a three-way.

In this next case, the BEYONDER had offered each of the Illuminati their heart's desire and Doctor Strange is shown waking up in bed with CLEA & SCARLET WITCH.

(Note: Check the night-stand next to the darker haired woman. That's Wanda's headdress. Just in case you doubt me on this.)

Click pic to Beyonder-size this.
As seen in New Avengers: ILLUMINATI # 3
Clea and Wanda are MY Marvel dream 3-way too.
(y'know... if I had to choose 2  totally fictional woman that are drawn on paper and not at all real to hook up with...
... don't you judge me!)

So... maybe DOC subconsciously has a little something for Wanda, but maybe it isn't JUST DOC who has a little something for Wanda... Clea DOES love Sex, y'know.

---

The final alternate reality "3-way" is a little more ... complicated, as it takes place in the Amalgam Universe (which is what happened when the Marvel and DC Universes... merged).

Among the many heroes who were created by the Amalgamation process were Dr. StrangeFate and White Witch.

Click pic to make it Double-D size.
Homina-homina-homina!
White Witch seems to have the power to make pants tighter. Ba-Zing!

Obviously, White Witch wants to cast a spell on Dr. StrangeFate.

But... I hear you say... that's just two - where's the third person in this so-called three-way?

Well, it would really be a three-by-three way, if Doc was into it.
Y'see...what complicates these two heroes even more is that unlike most other characters, who were only merged versions of 2 characters (ie; "Super Soldier" who was Superman and Captain America or "DarkClaw" who was Bat-Man and Wolverine), this magic couple was comprised of THREE characters each!

Dr. StrangeFate was the merged entities of Professor X and Dr. Fate (and the visual and overall character-aspect of Doctor Strange) while White Witch was the merged version of the Scarlet Witch and Zatanna (with visual and character-aspects of Clea).

Amalgam trading card of Dr. StrangeFate's Aides
Note: White Witch's CLEA shoulder points.
Colorist forgot to make her hair mostly white. I guess he was distracted.

So, even if Dr. StrangeFate turns down White Witch (like he does here, since... I'd imagine having your voice echo in that helmet would give you a headache [though... I gotta tell you, I don't care HOW bad my headache is... there's no way I'm not all-in with White Witch if she asks. Just sayin'.]), and she decided to have her own "girl's night" (you know what I mean)... then she'd still be a three-way unto herself!

It doesn't matter if she's with Doctor Strange or not, in this reality or any other...

CLEA LOVES SEX - SIXTH SEX :
The X-X-X Edition!

This post is the sixth entry (not counting a few addendum)  in a series of posts wherein we take a look at Clea's desire for ...er... physicality.
- (All entries in this series can be found [HERE].)

Today's entry is a Special XXX Edition!
Oh... and by XXX I don't necessarily mean "Rated XXX", but instead "X" refers to the Roman Numeral "10".
Since today is 10-10-10, this post would naturally be the X-X-X edition.
(Oh, I'm not proud of the deception... but I do so as a "public service". Those google porn surfers love this series. I'd hate for them to miss this one.)

Remember, clicking on pics makes them XXX in size.
(That's XtraXtraXtra Large).

---

This entry - from
Doctor Strange; Master of the Mystic Arts # 45,
by Chris Claremont (story) and Gene Colan (art)
not only displays one of the multiple instances of Clea questioning her dual role as disciple and lover, but it does show that when, if made to choose between one or the other... well... CLEA LOVES SEX!

---

The issue ENDS with this steamy panel.

Clea holds down TWO jobs.
One of those jobs seemingly involves GIVING them.

This sensual ending notwithstanding, the issue shows Clea running more hot and cold than a sneaker-wearing penguin with a flamethrower.

---

The scene is set, innocently enough, with Doctor Strange meeting Clea for a romantic, fully-posh dress-up lunch at the Plaza Hotel in NYC.

The day starts off well enough, Strange being charming and Clea seemingly in a pleasant state of being.

However, as many can attest from personal experience, such a tenuous, delicate balance is not easily held.

Seemingly from out of nowhere, Clea pulls a dark, angry and accusational mood from her bag.
Much like many "normal" men, Stephen Strange is blithely ignorant of the deeply held concerns of his lady love, and worse still, is clueless to his own failings in the situation.
But, that's why his title isn't "Master of the Romantic Arts".

In all honesty, and to her defense, Clea is suffering with several very serious personal dilemma.
The first of which;
She feels as alien on Earth as one to whom calls home a Dark Dimension of magic could possibly expect.

But that isn't the worst of it...

With Clea essentially at the precipice of a total breakdown, Strange pulls off the best "magic trick" of all:
calming her and managing to open a civil discourse with his beloved disciple.

Ah... but "beloved / disciple" is indeed the very crux of the situation...

You'll note that Clea states that since she feels useless as Strange's disciple, she is willing to stay on as his lover.
Doc knows that her emotions and feelings are at a dangerous place right now, and he has to tred carefully, and with great sensitivity in order to steer this in the right direction.

Of course, for most men, saying "we need to talk more of this" while engaging in a passionate kiss really means; "Let's do anything else but talk more about this. Now give me some sugar, baby".

However, Stephen Strange is a gentleman and a scholar (and not just book-smart either) as he knows that he had best diffuse the situation with some Tender Loving Care.

A long, lazy afternoon with relaxing fun and a romantic carriage-ride home is just what the Doctor ordered.

Guys? Check it. Doc is TOTALLY scoring points here. THAT is how it's done.

So that, when a mystic battle with the demonic N'Garai erupts in Doc's sub-basement, Strange is able to alleviate Clea's fears with some well chosen words.

Words that do more than quell Clea's mixed concerns for the time being.
Words that spur her on to strive to be the BEST, most adept disciple and BEST, most ardent lover possible.

And of course, to make sure he leads the dialogue along with a carefully leading line.
One that Clea picks up the meaning and replies accordingly.

Doc: "You've done work enough this night as my disciple..."
Clea: "...But as LOVER... my work has only just BEGUN!"

Damn. Strange is smooth.
He played that just right - because he knows...

CLEA LOVES SEX - ADDENDUM
Limericks from the Book of Vishanti
Warning: "Adult" Content Advisory

Over at Neilalien's blog, he is requesting limericks (Dr. Strange related would seem appropriate) in order to test out a new email account at his orbital HQ.

I sent him two that I conjured up on the spot.
Due to lack of time for any serious content on my own blog, I'm posting them here as well - and linking back to Neilalien's request [HERE] - so don't forget to go there and submit your own!)

In keeping with my "Clea Loves Sex" motif, I, of course, focused on her desires.
They're both the same basic idea, but with slightly differing angles (one tame and merely suggestive - the other ... fairly blatant)

Anyone who is easily offended by bawdy limericks or hints at sexuality best move on to other sites for today.

------------

Stepping forth from a sorcerous plume
Doctor Strange dropped the Wand of Watoomb
For by a spell it did shake
And undulate like a snake
So Clea took it back to her room

------------

Doctor Strange granted Clea a treasure
Watoomb's Wand; its worth far beyond measure
In her chamber she'd stay
Using it night and day
For she found it was ribbed for her pleasure

------------

My apologies to any impressionable or sensitive readers out there.
While hardly "Adult" content, I still placed the warning up in the subject header - as a fail-safe.
I don't think it strong enough to actually FLAG as such, however.

I truly need to wrap up my other reviews and get onto other stuff.
Sadly, I have had no time lately.
Packing, packing, and more packing here at the Sanctum as we prepare for a move in the next month or so.

I'll get something new here soon.
In the meanwhile, don't forget to stride over to Neilalien's dimension and send him your own limericks.

CLEA LOVES SEX - 5th in the series :
OOO XXX
(hugs and kisses)

---

This post is the fifth in a series of entries wherein we take a look at Clea's desire for ...er... physicality - previous input in this series can be found at these links:
1st entry , 2nd entry , 3rd entry , 4th entry
.

---

In this entry - from
Doctor Strange; Master of the Mystic Arts # 39,
Chris Claremont (story) and Gene Colan (art)
reveal that there is more to a deep and lasting love than just the wanton, carnal pleasures.

Clea's love for Dr. Strange has always been the major factor in her characterization.
More so than her study of sorcery, more still than her responsibilities to her home dimension...

It's always been about her love for Stephen Strange.

While, in many instances (as shown in the other entries of this series - with certainly more to come) that has manifested in her outright craving for Strange's "magic wand", it also has been shown in much deeper, more meaningful ways, such as this.

*click pic to "feel the love" *

In the midst of yet another world-threatening menace, Clea can feel Doctor Strange's burden, and her empathy longs to find a way to alleviate some of it - if even with something as simple as a kiss.

It's not "sex" in any typical or widely perceived manner, but it is at the heart of what sex is all about: the deep, touching of another's heart and spirit.

Many times such a simple act of a hug and/or a kiss can make one feel more "as one" with their partner than any naked sexual contact.
Even more than this, her feeling of his pain and her wishing to alleviate it in some way, is an even deeper example of "intimate" contact.
The brain is the biggest erogenous zone, y'know.

Certainly, she'd much prefer something a little more... physical, but she understands that there aren't always the times that such activity is possible. Some times, all that one can hope for is a little "presence" of that intimacy.

Strange, like many powerful and preoccupied men, sees her gesture of an offered hug and a kiss, at first, as a childish interruption - or as a "foolish womanly" notion.

He states, "And that will make all right with the world, eh, Clea?"

To which her reply of, "I don't know about the world, but it might make you feel better," seems to show that she does understand the nature of making the world seem right.

As the caption reads:

'The moment is rare, beautiful, supremely precious and too quickly over.
Both wish they could have more such moments.'

That is how you make "all right with the world"...
One person at a time.
With love.

Starting, of course, with the one that you love.

---

Don't worry - I know this feature has many fans (this series frequently gets more hits than just about any others that I post) and this "sensitive" side-track isn't some "new direction".
Rest assured, the next installments in the series will return to the kind of content that the internet has come to crave.
(As we all know there is a lack of sexual content online.)

There are still many more occurrences in the Dr. Strange canon to continue.
Because as every Doc and Clea fan knows...

CLEA LOVES SEX!

MIDNIGHT IMAGES
Original Comic Artwork
(3rd in a series)
"Doctor Strange" - 1989

---

As I have done a few times this month, today's post showcases some (really) old comic art of my very own.

---

For ALL of the installments in this series, visit these links:

---

Today's entry is a 6 page "Doctor Strange" submission sample that I had "written" (a plot only) and penciled waaaay back in 1989 (although, it might have been drawn in 1988... I'm not 100% certain of the date/year).

As for the content of this post, I'll only show a few teaser images here... instead linking to my other ART blog (the Midnight Images blog) to show the full pages and the story breakdown (which can be found [HERE] - or click the Midnight Images logo at the end of the post).

However, I will confess that it was even critiqued, in person, by Stan "the Man" Lee himself.
(I'll spill the beans on that little tidbit at the end of this post - and on the art blog as well, where the actual 6 page story is shown.)

It's a quick little hit-and-run story, making sure to touch upon most of the big players in the Doctor Strange mythos:

Doctor Strange, The Ancient One, Clea, Dormammu, Eternity and a brief appearance by Nightmare.

It's "Atmospheric".
It's "Pan-Dimensional".
It's "touching".
(And not just because Doc and Clea embrace, kiss and end up in bed. *)
* (although, since it's not an official "story" I couldn't rightly include it into the "Clea Loves Sex" series)

---

However, I will share for you now, the brief tale of my meeting with STAN LEE.

--- A FAMOUS CRITIC ---

I'll wrap up this entry with an anecdote about how I met STAN LEE (he who co-crated much of the Marvel comics characters, like the Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, Hulk and many others... including Doctor Strange) and how he gave me a portfolio review.

(That day, I also met JACK "KING" KIRBY - the man largely responsible for co-creating much of the same characters and worlds that Stan would write about - if not even more of the visual nature of comics themselves - but this isn't the time for the story of that meeting.)

From a period of 1988 - 1992, I would frequently travel to various comic conventions and have a table set up in either the dealer's room or, later, in the professional's "Artist's Alley".
One such convention both Stan Lee and Jack Kirby were in attendance!
(For some reason, I seem to think this was either in Chicago or Boston - except that if both Stan and Jack were present - it was more likely in New York City.)

It was announced that Stan Lee would be conducting portfolio reviews for a few hours that day, and so, many artists in attendance registered, were assigned a time-slot and then had their own private freak-outs while waiting for their time.

When it was finally my turn, Stan was as boisterously pleasant and friendly as his public persona has always been. Quick with a smile and a handshake.

I sat down and he flipped through my book - I recall it being fairly daunting that many of the images that he was seeing - mostly pin-up style drawings - were of characters that he co-created with some of the greatest comic artists ever known.

Luckily, I didn't freeze up or panic (or worse... "geek out"). Stan made it easy to just be at ease.
As Stan flipped, and had a few "Ah... good." and "This is nice." comments, we finally reached the portion with the actual comic artwork.
The only problem is that, by now, the almost surreal nature of this meeting was starting to get to me a little.

When he reached this sample, and he got to page three, he simply said; "Ahh... Doctor Strange! His legs are too thin."

All I could say was..." No. I don't think so." (because I was thinking that as a sorcerer, Strange should be leaner and less bulked up - as opposed to the traditional "superheroes" in comics).
However, I immediately realized that my own, personal thoughts on the proper handling of a magic-user character, were not appropriate for this meeting, and so I quickly added, "Really? Hmmm... Well, I guess so. YOU would know, right?"

He took my gaff in stride, but I didn't hear anything else he said during my time with him.
I was far too shaken by my own hubris and kept repeating the blurted words over and over in my head.
Finally, we reached the end of the portfolio, he smiled and told me to keep up the good work ("Marvel needs up and comic young artists like you!" - or some words to that effect, were the last thing he said to me.)
We shook hands again (and I think he gave me his business card - I mean I have one of his for his then California offices - how else did I get it?) and I walked back to my booth.

Looking at these pages now, I know that Stan was being far too easy on me.
To only pick up on the fact that his character's legs were thin was a kindness!
It could have (should have) been much worse of a critique.
But, Stan was being nice to an idiot young guy.

(I can pick a multitude of flaws from the pages - all of which glare at me now.)

To this day, that small snippet of our meeting is the only thing that I can remember with clarity.
And even though, I really DO feel that Doctor Strange should be portrayed as a more "wizardly" character (spending more time reading dusty old tomes than getting out to walk - and when he does battle it isn't usually done physically) I learned the valuable lesson that unless you are being granted artistic license to do so, it is best to write or draw trademarked characters as they are - not how you think they should be.

At least when showing them to the guy that pretty much created them anyway.

 ---

And that's it for now... don't forget to head over to my Midnight Images Art Blog to see the story and read up it all in greater detail.

Well?
Are you still here?
What are you waiting for?
Go check out the FULL 6-page story art over at my MIDNIGHT IMAGES art blog!

CLEA LOVES SEX - IV :
Dead Can Dance (the horizontal boogie)

This post is the fourth in a series of entries wherein we take a look at Clea's desire for ...er... physicality - (previous input in this series can be found at these links: 1st entry , 2nd entry & 3rd entry).

---

This entry - from
Doctor Strange; Master of the Mystic Arts # 19,
by Marv Wolfman (story) and Alfredo Alcala (art)
might not be as "titillating" or "revealing" as the previous entries, but it does show just how much...CLEA LOVES SEX!

---

The issue ENDS with this simple panel.

That is a fairly innocent, "comic code approved" way for Clea to state what is on her mind.
That basically, CLEA LOVES SEX!

---

What is so amazing about her desire for lovin', is that her libido rivals that of any horn-dog man.

Here's why:

This issue takes place just after the events of the previous entry in this series [HERE] where she supposedly had "relations" with none other than "American Founding Father", Benjamin Franklin while Strange was busy, off fighting a sea-monster.

Shortly after her tryst, Strange returns and, after Clea announces that she plans to marry Ben, Strange blasts Franklin to atoms (revealing that it really wasn't Franklin after all, but the evil wizard; Stygyro in disguise - although we discuss the questions of "was it or wasn't it?" in that last entry).

---

Strange now has many existential and mystical quandaries to face, and as such, he goes "astral".

---

Communicating with his now-dead-and-as-one-with-all mentor; The Ancient One, Strange sees that there is more transpiring than meets the eye.

---

The Stygyro / Franklin thing being a part of a test, with more to come, Strange takes Clea and they bid their leave from their host Benjamin Franklin... but not before Ben gives Clea a kiss to the hand, which, like a kiss to the neck, can get some women's blood warm.

---

Strange has a major conundrum to face. The fate of life and all-there-is being bandied about, and his own path as Sorcerer Supreme hanging in the balance, it comes to a head with THIS scene:

Clea, now dead and skeletal, STILL has her own hot urges!
"Do you still want me now? I can still be yours if you do!"

---

Under ANY other circumstances, and with (almost) ANY other woman, the chances for intimacy would be shot to hell (think about it - with some rare exceptions, God bless 'em - women almost always state that they usually need to be in the precise right juxtaposition of mental, physical and emotional balance in order to be "in the mood" for sex).
Not Clea.

  • She had carnal relations with "Ben Franklin".
  • She agreed to marry him.
  • She watched him get blasted to vapor and revealed to be an evil sorcerer.
  • She found that he, the man she was going to marry, was alive but had no "history" with her.
  • She was then turned into a dead similacrum of herself.
(That's a hell of a lot more to complain about than the usual; "I have a headache".)
And ALL that in a matter of a day.

And at the end of that day, when all this was over, and her "main" lover announces that he has decided to renounce godlike abilities in order to remain "just a man", she STILL has only one thing on her mind.

"There are NEEDS a woman has that only a MAN can satisfy."

Damn.

CLEA LOVES SEX - 3rd Input:
It's All About the Benjamin!

---

*WARNING*
This blog-post contains some mild sexual innuendo.

---

The third in a series of entries wherein we take a look at Clea's desire for ...er... physicality - (previous input in this series can be found at these links: 1st entry & 2nd entry).

---

This entry - is from Doctor Strange; Master of the Mystic Arts # 18, by Steve Englehart and Gene Colan.

---

As someone who spent most of her long (lifespan which, as a Faltinian-based dweller of the Dark Dimension is far longer than an Earth-616) life in a realm of semi-solid quasi-reality, under the strict yoke of a tyrannical demon-sorcerer, Clea had no contact with men. At least, seemingly not until she came to Earth to spend her days as the disciple and lover of Dr. Stephen Strange.

THEN, she couldn't get enough.

However, as we'll see in this installment, if Strange is too preoccupied to properly "attend" to his young lady-friend, she's more than capable of entertaining other... "options".

Perhaps, the most oft-broached incident was where, while on a journey throughout time, Dr. Strange and Clea met Benjamin Franklin; one of the "founding fathers" of these United States of America. *

So, while Strange is laying some history on Clea, he is also, unknowingly trumpeting the cause for a rival suitor.
Strange sparks Clea's interest in Ben, but it obviously doesn't take long for the silver-haired (and silver-tongued) elder statesman to fan that spark into a flame.

---

It doesn't help that Stephen, much like a businessman who spends too much time at work, away from a young bride, is always preoccupied by one thing or another.

Like, say... a giant sea-monster with the power of a time-traveling cosmic wizard?
Yeah. Little stuff like that.

---

So, it's not long before Clea grows tired of playing second-fiddle for Strange's attentions.

Most busy men understand this point, right? How many times have you had a conversation similar to this with your significant other?

Of course, it is only a hair's breadth away from her uttering these next few words:

"Do you love me?"
Trust me... there is only one way to answer that question; "Yes." If you put any other words after that, especially starting with "But...", you're just asking for trouble.

No matter WHAT it is that you might offer forth as a reason/excuse/explanation for your seeming lack of attention, your cabin will fall silent for the night as well.

---

Now, Benjamin Franklin was a wise, wily and womanizing man... with a keen eye and a honed sense to clue him into the best ways to approach ANY negotiations.
Just see how he's eyeing Clea. He knows that any rocking of the boat last night had nothing to do with Strange.
And besides... Doc would soon be occupied with other things. Other wet holes to fill, so to speak.

---

While Strange heads off to deal with the life-threatening danger, Benjamin offers Clea a little... old-world "hospitality".
Now, remember, while inside his cabin the scene is one of refined elegance, outside things are far less than idyllic. But that doesn't throw Ben off his game.
Nor does Clea seems ill affected, but that may be attributed to Ben's "bedside manner".

---

But what is Strange doing all this while?
Oh, not much...
Just battling a sorcerer/monster at the bottom of the sea. A sea that, now that the evil power has been defeated, the spell holding the wall of water at bay has been negated.

Rising to the surface, Strange has a little too much "water on the brain" to be able to perceive the obvious. At best, all he can think is a feeble "Huh?"... as Clea helps handle Ben's dinghy.

* In a disappointing turn of editorial/new-writer edict, this entire awesome story arc by Steve Englehart (and edited by Archie Goodwin) was negated by new writer/editor Marv Wolfman with a clumsy retro-fit making the evil sorcerer Stygyro responsible for all the recent events "to cause Strange to doubt himself".

Dr. Strange; Master of the Mystic Arts # 19
Marv Wolfman / Alfredo Alcala

So, Ben Franklin never made it with Clea. It was Stygyro (either in disguise or an illusion) who wooed her.

OR, it truly WAS Ben Franklin on the ship, but everything that happened between he and Clea (perhaps on the ship or most definitely) in the issue afterward, was Stygyro.

Still, Clea didn't know that.

(I'm sure this will once again attract many google searchers who are searching for more... explicit content. These "Clea Loves Sex" posts tend to have higher hit-counts than many other entries.
