*WHERE did the post go that was already HERE?

CURSE ME FOR A NOVICE!
Due to an error on my part, I accidentally posted the 2011 Sanctum Awards with a bad cut/paste job of last-year's header, for the 2010 Sancty Awards.
While I was later able to rectify the oversight in the actual title, the URL (as still seen above) retained the 2010 date information.

And because I am a crazy-person, that means I had to cut/paste & re-post the entire thing anew (so it would get a proper URL) and leave THIS post as a placeholder / link to the awards.

So sorry for the inconvenience.

CURSE ME FOR A NOVICE! : 03-28-09
PUBLISH or PERISH!

---

"l'il mac"

---

To ANY readers who have been eagerly anticipating my review of New Avengers # 51, and the pursuant in-depth analysis of the mantle of Sorcerer Supreme... (with my continuing series on "the Search for, Nature and History of the Sorcerer Supreme").

It is nearly completed.

However, my general physical and mental state as of late has left me easily fatigued.

To that end, thrice over the past day, I have meant to hit "SAVE NOW" and instead clicked "PUBLISH POST" only to be forced to quickly scurry, copying and pasting everything into a NEW POST and then hurriedly deleting the posted, UNFINISHED version.

I mean - - WHO DESIGNED Blogger?
WHY would you place those two buttons so close together like that?

WTF?

So, if you have subscribed to this blog and have received a few half-formed posts on the subject, my apologies.

Feel free to read what you have, but please understand that it is unfinished and many notes are just tossed in various spots as mental placeholders.

I don't normally like to work this way, but I'm not operating at 100% today.

Keep your eyes on this space for that promised post.
Later today!
(I hope)

*UPDATE*
OK. The post is live.
You can find it either in the post que or feel free to just use this handy link: [HERE]

CURSE ME FOR A NOVICE! : 03-16-09
The Forgotten Things...

From Marvel Premeire # 12
Steve Engelhart & Frank Brunner

Alas, I too have been so fixated upon the multitudes of weightier matters as of late, that I let myself lose sight of the basic, structured order of things around here.

Besides being far behind on 2 major posts that I'm eager to get in the can soon, I ALSO missed announcing when I had my 100th POST (several posts ago) - but to top it ALL off, I find myself having to squeeze in some RETRO-POSTS in between older ones (thusly screwing up further which post truly was the 100th - not that it was anything specially prepared for the occasion), in order to correct a mistake in the chronological nature of my "Idol Pursuits" series.

Somehow, I had skipped over two items that needed to be blogged about before my last batch of entries (of the Dr. Strange PVC, the "Man-Thing" rubber figure & the assorted Marvel PVC's).

Those forgotten items are: the 01984 Marvel / TSR r.p.g. metal figures - & - the standees for the same game!

So, now that I have made sure that the forgotten posts have been placed in their rightful order, and renumbered the entries to make right the error, I'll have to make THIS post the official "gatekeeper" for them - by using it to direct you kind readers there.

Hope springs eternal that it will be quite some time before I err enough to exclaim;
"Curse me for a novice!"

And now, Ladies and Gentlemen...
Observe, as I put this rabbit back INTO my hat!

This entry falls under the heading of "tying up loose ends"... both for ME as well as for Dr. Strange and Clea.

Readers of this blog may remember that back in December of last year (02008) I posted a piece that addressed the peculiar case of the Giant Rabbit that was seen in;
"Marvels: Eye of the Camera" # 02,
and how Kurt Busiek had added a "throw-away" bit that originated in a classic scene from;
Doctor Strange; Master of the Mystic Arts # 01...
(if you haven't yet, read that entry - HERE before you continue with this post)...

Everyone back?

OK. Well... a month or so ago, while doing research for another post, I re-read a few of the early issues from the Master of the Mystic Arts series and came across THIS forgotten scene:

*click pics to giant-rabbit-size*

Doctor Strange; Master of the Mystic Arts # 06
Steve Englehart (Script), Gene Colan (Pencils), Klaus Janson (Inks)
Petra Goldberg (Colors), Tom Orzechowski (Letters).

Here, we see that Steve Englehart hadn't left the poor "little" rabbit to an unknown fate.
Well, needless to say, all I could think was "Curse me for a novice!"... I was embarrassed that I had forgotten that scene completely, when I wrote the earlier post. Since I've unearthed this tidbit, I've been looking for a spare moment to post it, but it kept getting bumped.

So, before I get involved in the many upcoming posts that I have up my sleeve, I just wanted to get this rabbit back into the hat.

CURSE ME FOR A NOVICE!

I'm trying to alter my blogger template to a customized one...
but can't seem to get it to work properly.

My logo header has vanished and no matter what I try, I can't seem to get it back.

Argh!
Well, all the CONTENT is still here, so that's good (for all of us). Feel free to search around the blog and read. Nothing important is lost (except for my beautiful logo).

All I can say is...

Doctor Strange ; Master of the Mystic Arts # 17
Englehart, Colan and Palmer

Curse me for an HTML novice!

**UPDATE**
Feh! No matter what I tried, the 3-column format would not accept my logo header.
I may have to alter the size...

In the meanwhile, I've resumed my classic format.
All's well for now.

Thanks for your patience.
