The Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe (Deluxe Edition) entry for the Sanctum Sanctorum.

I think there might be a newer entry in one of the more recent "updates" of the O.H.o.t.M.U. books, but with the exception of an added secondary image of it looking like a dilapidated ruin awaiting the Starbucks makeover, it's the same as this.


Illustrated by Eliot R. Brown (much like everything else technical in those handbooks) this has been the standard template for how the Sanctum is supposed to be depicted in all Marvel publications.

Obviously, individual styles, techniques, and "visions" will alter it a degree (or ten), but still - THIS. is. IT.
